SIM & Secure Connectivity
Secure SIM Solutions for Connected Devices and Services
Secure network access starts with a credential suited to the device and its environment. Hengbao provides SIM products for consumer, industrial and automotive programmes, with configurations aligned to operator requirements and deployment needs.
A Secure Foundation for Mobile Connectivity
SIM credentials authenticate devices to mobile networks and protect access to subscribed services. Hengbao supports the credential through product configuration, operating-system options, personalisation and delivery.
The portfolio includes Native and Java options for 4G and 5G programmes. Product selection takes account of the operator profile, chipset, form factor and intended operating environment.
Consumer SIM
Hengbao provides plug-in SIM products for smartphones and other cellular-enabled consumer devices. Approved Native and Java configurations support 4G and 5G requirements, with legacy 3G configurations available on request.
Operators can align applications, profiles and personalisation with their service requirements. Embedded eUICC and Super SIM options can also be discussed where relevant to the device and programme.
- Standard plug-in form factors and embedded eUICC options, including MFF2
- Native and Java operating-system options
- Operator application and profile configuration
- Personalisation and secure delivery
- Chipset migration and maintenance for qualified products
M2M & Industrial SIM
Distributed devices need credentials suited to their operating conditions and deployment lifecycle. Hengbao provides M2M and industrial SIM products for applications including smart metering, terminals, industrial equipment and other connected assets.
The credential can be configured around the device form factor, network profile and expected environment, helping organisations select an appropriate connection foundation for unattended deployments.
Automotive-Grade M2M SIM
Hengbao supports connectivity programmes for connected vehicles, telematics units and embedded automotive systems. SIM configuration considers the operating environment, integration architecture and expected service lifecycle.
Automotive-grade qualification and environmental specifications are confirmed for the selected product and programme. The credential can be considered alongside eSIM, profile provisioning and lifecycle support where required.
NFC-Enabled Connectivity Credentials
Combine mobile-network authentication with supported contactless applications. Hengbao provides NFC-enabled credentials for approved use cases such as public transport, metro access and building access.
Application support depends on the credential configuration and participating ecosystem. Hengbao works with customers to define the secure application scope and integration requirements.
Quantum-Safe SIM
Programme-specific security configurations and ongoing researchAs connectivity-security requirements evolve, Hengbao can assess SIM configurations incorporating national cryptographic and quantum-security functions for defined programmes. This work sits alongside ongoing research into post-quantum cryptography for SIM and secure-connectivity environments.
Supported algorithms, hardware requirements and availability are confirmed for each programme. Further post-quantum capabilities remain subject to development and validation.
Configuration and Delivery Support
A SIM programme brings together the credential, operator applications and delivery requirements. Hengbao helps define a suitable scope covering:
- Device form factor and required network generation
- Operating system and chipset configuration
- Operator applications and secure credentials
- Personalisation, testing and controlled delivery
- Product maintenance and agreed migration requirements
