eSIM & Remote Provisioning
eSIM Products and Platforms for Connected Device Lifecycles
Remote provisioning gives connected-device programmes greater flexibility in managing subscriptions. Hengbao combines eSIM products with provisioning platforms and lifecycle capabilities for consumer devices, industrial IoT and connected vehicles.
Connecting Credentials with Subscription Management
An eSIM programme links the device credential with operator systems, profile services and ongoing subscription operations. Hengbao brings these elements into a coordinated solution, helping customers define the product, platform and integration scope together.
Consumer, IoT and automotive deployments have different requirements. The applicable architecture, hosting model and device-side components are selected to suit the programme.
Consumer eSIM
Support digital connectivity journeys across smartphones, tablets, wearables and other consumer devices. Hengbao provides consumer eSIM credentials for remote activation and subscription changes within the agreed architecture.
The product and provisioning scope are aligned to the operator environment, supported devices and required ecosystem approvals.
IoT eSIM
Hengbao provides eSIM credentials for meters, terminals, industrial equipment and other connected devices. Remote provisioning supports subscription management where physical access to deployed equipment may be limited.
Product selection considers the operating environment, device integration and required management architecture. Hengbao continues to expand IoT eSIM productisation and device-maker integration.
Automotive eSIM
Connected vehicles and telematics systems require connectivity that fits their operating environment and service lifecycle. Hengbao supports automotive eSIM programmes by aligning the credential with the operator model and provisioning architecture.
Automotive qualification, environmental specifications and certification scope are confirmed for the selected product and vehicle programme.
Platform
SM-DP+ Consumer eSIM Platform
Hengbao's SM-DP+ platform helps mobile network operators and virtual operators securely prepare and deliver consumer eSIM profiles and manage the associated lifecycle operations. The platform supports consumer provisioning within the GSMA SGP.22 architecture.
Integration connects the provisioning service with operator channels, device-side components and the systems used to order and manage subscriptions. Multi-site deployment options inside and outside China can be considered for the agreed service architecture.
- Secure profile preparation and delivery
- Consumer eSIM activation and lifecycle operations
- Integration with operator front ends and business systems
- Support for qualified consumer-device programmes
- Deployment scope aligned to operational and availability requirements
Hengbao's relevant production activities and subscription-management operations have obtained GSMA SAS-UP and SAS-SM accreditation respectively. Accredited scope and supported platform functions are confirmed for the programme.
Platform
eIM IoT eSIM Management Platform
Under developmentHengbao is developing an eIM platform for remote eSIM profile management using the GSMA SGP.32 architecture. The platform is intended to help IoT service providers coordinate provisioning and lifecycle actions across connected-device deployments.
Development covers device and profile management, ecosystem integration and support for larger device estates. Supported modules, delivery timing and certification scope are defined for each opportunity.
Profile Provisioning & Lifecycle Management
Manage the profile journey through preparation, secure delivery, activation, update and retirement. Hengbao defines these functions within the selected provisioning architecture and operating model.
The final scope distinguishes platform modules, managed services and customer-operated functions, giving teams a clear view of responsibilities across the subscription lifecycle.
A Deployment Model Suited to the Programme
Hengbao works with customers to define device categories, target markets and operator requirements before selecting the eSIM product and platform components. Integration and testing then address profile download, activation, update and recovery journeys before rollout.
The roadmap follows consumer, IoT and M2M eSIM architectures, including SGP.22, SGP.32 and SGP.02. Supported specification versions and any legacy M2M requirements are assessed separately for each programme.
